Listening to the opinions of the factory/shop floor, empathizing with their feelings, and accompanying them in operations.
In Indonesia's manufacturing industry, the burden on production has increased due to the diversification of products in small quantities, and changes in order quantities and delivery dates from customers make demand forecasting difficult, increasing the risk of inventory costs and opportunity loss costs.
One of the means to achieve the goal of business improvement for enhancing production efficiency is through systems. If systematization can improve the efficiency and accuracy of data entry, and enable effective use of information through visualization, sharing, and systematization, information from the factory/shop floor can generate company competitiveness, leading to the revitalization of the regional economy and ultimately to the high value-added of Indonesia as a whole.
With the motto 'Listening to the opinions of the factory/shop floor, empathizing with their feelings, and accompanying them in operations,' we propose system implementations that produce visible effects, such as how much current operations can be improved and what new results can be achieved.

Origin of the Company Name
The origin of the mackerel pressed sushi "Battera" comes from the Portuguese word bateira (bateira = small boat), and "Noah's Ark" described in the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament is called "Bahtera Nuh" in Indonesian.
My Biography: Keiji Yamamoto
Born in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Graduated from Kurume University Affiliated High School and Keio University Faculty of Commerce.
Grew up in Fukuoka until high school, spent 8 years in Tokyo from student days to working adult, and in October 1997, transferred to a system company in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Field note: During a one-year dispatch to the system department of a certain Japanese bank's Jakarta branch, the Jakarta riots of 1998 occurred. The scene of escaping for about 4 hours, avoiding mobs from the Summitmas building and reaching Kuningan while detouring here and there, through crowds gathering at intersections and people carrying looted goods from supermarkets, is strongly remembered (although I might have actually enjoyed it quite a bit).
Takeaway: Experience in system implementation on-site is tied to firsthand experiences, including changes in social conditions and confusion on the factory/shop floor.
After that, started a furniture and miscellaneous goods export company based on a website in Bali, returned to Jakarta after the boom passed, and have been developing and implementing business systems such as accounting systems and production management systems.
Based on many years of experience in developing and implementing business systems in Japan and Indonesia, I established and operate the IT service company PT. BAHTERA HISISTEM INDONESIA.
Purpose of This Site
While visiting the sites of system implementation in Japanese corporate offices in Jakarta or industrial parks in the suburbs of Jakarta, it was necessary to organize the knowledge needed to answer customer questions. If you can't answer questions, it won't lead to proposals.
Having a self-awareness of being bad at remembering and inefficient, the answer to the problem of "can't organize the knowledge that's jumbled in my head" was to make my head's contents into a public blog. Categorizing, archiving, and tagging the blog is useful for organizing knowledge vertically and horizontally. The initial title was "Jakarta System Implementation Memo."
Compared to just thinking, writing requires a lot of energy. Publishing on the internet also helps with checking for typos and self-regulating expressions.
As I continued the "head organization blog," the purpose shifted to "a site that can cover the main topics that come up in conversations with customers on the system implementation site." In the process of embedding knowledge into the blog, I also encountered the issue of "what is the work that Japanese people should originally do in Indonesia."
Despite the clumsy content, I sometimes receive emails saying "I learned from the site" or "It was helpful," and I aimed to make it a site useful to visitors by renaming it to "Indonesia IT Navi." It touches on topics related to "Indonesia" as well as IT.
With the incorporation in February 2018, the old domain "Indonesia IT Navi" (indonesia-japan.com) was redirected to the company domain "Bahtera Hisistem" (bahtera.jp) via 301 redirect.
Thanks to the connections made through this site, I have been fortunate to receive projects, and I am updating the content with the goal of "a site useful for those considering system implementation in Indonesia." In areas where information becomes outdated quickly, I update to the latest information as soon as I notice it.
Humans always need Kaizen, and I want to continue to change. Among that, I want to value the basic knowledge that "never changes."
